Order Processing & Package Allocation

Upon receipt of order data, Zeno OMS leaps into action. A process runs in the background to efficiently allocate items into packages based on the data provided by the client. This sophisticated system ensures optimal packaging solutions, potentially reducing costs and environmental impact.

 

Batch Creation

Next, the packages are manually batched by the user in Zeno. These batches are made accessible through an API endpoint for retrieval, offering flexibility and real-time data accessibility for your team.

 

Order Fulfillment

Now it's time to get those orders on their way to customers. Clients retrieve the batches from the API endpoint and send them to the appropriate Warehouse Management System (WMS) for fulfillment, ensuring a seamless and efficient fulfillment process.

 

Shipping and Tracking

Once the WMS has the tracking data for the packages, this information is relayed back to Zeno OMS. Here, Zeno OMS stores the tracking numbers, making them accessible for retrieval through the API or via the web browser. This clear, readily available tracking information keeps your team and customers informed about package locations at all times.

 

Delivery Tracking

Zeno OMS goes the extra mile in tracking by integrating with the AfterShip service. This service displays the progress of the delivery to the end-users, enhancing transparency and customer satisfaction.

 

Order Completion

Upon successful delivery, the order lifecycle in Zeno OMS comes to a close. This represents not just the completion of a single transaction, but a seamless, efficient journey orchestrated by Zeno OMS in partnership with your business and WMS.
