Vectis 1.5.0 ships: bulk import, margins, and GDPR workflows
We shipped Vectis 1.5.0. Here is what matters if you run fulfillment or own integrations.
What we built
Bulk order import API: POST /api/orders/bulk-import accepts JSON or CSV. Use it when you are moving volume, not when you are posting one order at a time (that is still POST /api/orders with idempotency on externalId).
Profitability and margins: Reporting goes deeper on margin so you can see whether revenue actually holds up after costs. Details live in Reporting & Analytics under profitability.
GDPR-style operations: Export, erasure, and retention automation show up where your tenant configuration allows. Privacy policy updates spell out product workflows vs email support: Privacy.
Warehouse and WMS: Per-warehouse own WMS flags and more WMS-lite package actions for teams that split work between Vectis and an external WMS.
API contract clarity: Addresses accept street1 as an alias for the first line. Paginated lists include total. Line items can expose unitCost, costCurrency, and lineCost when your data supports it.
Under the hood we hardened Redis readiness, rate shopping for hazmat, sales channel metadata, and webhook clients. Boring reliability work that keeps nights quieter.
Who this is for
- Operators onboarding a big catalog or replatform who need batch-shaped imports.
- Finance and ops who finally want margin next to velocity.
- Integrators who need predictable JSON and fewer surprises in address payloads.
